Glendale League Code of Conduct

  Players
ball Play for the fun of it.
How you play is more important than winning or losing.
Accept the official's decisions even if you think they are wrong. Play by the rules!
Be a good sport, applaud good play whether by your team or your opponents.
Control your temper at all times and treat all players as you would like to be treated.

  Coaches
Teach your players that the rules of the game are mutual agreements which they shouldn't break.
Remember that young people play for fun and enjoyment, winning is only part of it.
Never yell at players for making mistakes!
Do not publicly question any official's decisions and never doubt his or her honesty.
Be generous with your praise and set a good example.
Set a good example by upholding the Leagues No Smoking policy.

  Spectators
Remember that the young people are involved for their enjoyment not yours.
You have a responsibility to encourage the players to abide by the rules.
Help to remove all verbal and physical abuse in football by setting a good example.
Applaud good play and never publicly question a referee's decision.
Respect team work and effort as much as winning.
Help young people to accept defeat without undue disappointment.
Set a good example by upholding the Leagues No Smoking policy.
