Under 10 Cup The under 10 League will split into two groups of six teams to form the Premiershp and Championship cup competitions. Each group will play one round robin at Wooler and then the top two teams in each competition will play on finals day Under 12 Cup To avoid odd numbers of teams in each division the League will spilt into a top eight and a bottom six to form Premiership and Championship cup competitions. In the Premiership cup, teams will play a two leg quarter-final and a two leg semi-final. In the Championship cup, two teams have drawn a bye in the preliminary round. There will then be a two leg semi-final. Teams that are level at the end of normal time in the the second leg will have a best-of-five penalty shoot out followed by sudden death. Please note the five goal maximum rule still applies. There is no "away goal" advantage. Teams not involved at any stage of the cup will be offered a friendly match. The draw was made by the League chairman and secretary using random number selection. Under 14 CupThe Under 14 League will split into a top six who will compete in The Premiership Cup and the bottom four teams who will compete for The Championship Cup. The Premiership will play a round-robin over five weeks, after which the 1st place team will play a two-leg semi-final against the team in third place, as will the teams in second and fourth place. The Championship competition will consist of a double round-robin after which the two top teams will play in the final. Friendly games will be assigned on all spare fixture dates unless they are needed for catch-up. We will look at the possibility of organising friendly 11 a'side matches if possible on those dates. |
